They aren’t going to stay together. They aren’t even together now. The only place they are together now is in my mind. There is no way Violet will forgive him for what he has done. I mean I love Tate. He is my favorite character but I agree with Violet that he needs to pay for all the stuff he has done to people. I mean, sure, he has a soft, sensitive side to him but he also has that psychopathic, sadistic side to him as well.
Violet may be all that he has and as much as I want them to be together for the rest of forever, it just can’t happen. I would be so mad at Violet if she gave in and just forgave him for what he did.
One can argue that all that happened BEFORE he fell for Violet but regardless of that it still happened. He was to blame, in a twisted way, for the death of Violet’s mother. I can see why she thinks that.
Tate will never stop fascinating me and I will never stop shipping him with Violet, but it is never going to happen again. No matter how much she loves him, she is just never going to be able to look at him the same way again. And, in that house, forever is a long, long time to be mad at someone….
Just my thoughts.
(sorry this turned into a long rant)
I love these two the most. Tate has always been comforted by the women of the house… instead of his own mother. First there was Nora, who he saw as a mother figure and she was there to wipe away his tears. Then, years later, here comes Violet, the girl he falls madly in love with, and she is there to wipe away his tears.
I have lots of thoughts on this, I’ll elaborate more later
